Don Sullivan, “The DogFather,” is an internationally recognized name in the world of dog training. Training dogs professionally since 1986, Don Sullivan has also been a performance trainer of Killer Whales, seals and sea lions.

Don Sullivan has developed a unique system for training dogs that achieves amazingly fast, dramatic changes in the behavior of even the most difficult dogs; in many cases saving dogs from being killed because of seemingly uncorrectable behavior problems.

Don’s success has enabled him to host his own national Canadian television show, “Doggin’it”; it has also earned him the role of guest media expert, with appearances throughout the United States, Australia, England and Canada on TV, radio and in print publications. Don has been sought after as an expert witness for court cases dealing with aggressive dogs, and he has been hired as an Aggression Specialist Trainer for animal control officers.

Completion of The DogFather Academy Program will earn you the title of Accredited DogFather Instructor in the DogFather System of dog training.

The DogFather Academy Program is like none other in that Don Sullivan and his team come to you. You will not only learn how to train dogs (and achieve the same amazing, fast results) like Don, you will also learn how to establish and market your business, and effectively network within your community. Each student receives one on one personalized instruction whereby Don shares his years of knowledge, skills and experience, within an emphasis on practical, real-life situational training.    

Program Overview

This unique and coveted program is only offered to select individuals. You will work one on one with Don Sullivan, “The DogFather,” and his team, as they personally instruct and guide you to become a gifted dog training specialist. The DogFather Academy Program is a completely hands on experience where, after having met the acceptance criteria, you will join Don and his team as they take you through all aspects of life as a DogFather Instructor.

Once you graduate as an independent Accredited DogFather Instructor, you will be well equipped to promote your business, secure clientele and begin earning a significantly above average income in the field of dog training. Moreover, you will enjoy the priceless reward of transforming the lives of dogs and their owners in ways that only a DogFather Instructor can.

Program Length

The DogFather Academy Program is an intense 6 week, 6 days per week, “full immersion” course.

The first two weeks focus on gaining an in-depth appreciation of the philosophy behind the DogFather System of dog training while engaging in practical interaction with clients and their dogs. The second two weeks focus on effective independent application of the DogFather training techniques. The final two weeks focus on fine-tuning training skills, as well as the operational aspects of your future business as a DogFather Instructor. A one week independent Preparatory Program, prior to the arrival of Don and his team, is also required.
